Proof of full vaccination is required at this time to attend any class unmasked. Fully vaccinated students can opt to remove their masks at their own discretion. If not fully vaccinated, student will need to wear a mask during class and inside the studio.

Pre Flight Fabrics - Start Here Beginners! (hammock & silks)

Do you want to try Aerial fabrics but don’t know exactly where to start? Start here with our Fabrics pre flight. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try Silks or Hammock for the first time.

Taking this semi-private class will introduce you to the equipment and you will take your first steps to flight. and set you up for flying in our group classes. “Prepare for takeoff”!

Silks

SILKS FUNDAMENTALS: This Beginner Silks class focuses on learning and practicing Silk Fundamentals which include... Various climbs, Straddle-back, Footlock, and HipKey. These exercises and skills are then used to increase physical strength and aerial silk understanding to prepare an aerial student for silks choreography.

SILKS: This multi level class begins with a group warm-up followed by aerial warm-up on the silks, focusing on building strength & endurance. The class then progresses to mounts, poses, moves & combos. It combines the rigor of aerial silks training with the fun and artistry of aerial dance.

*INTERMEDIATE SILKS: This Intermediate class progresses to choreography & intermediate level sequences on the silks where the student will learn safe aerial choreography using musicality and artistry to encourage the students to also focus on the performance aspect of aerial arts. It combines the rigor of aerial silks training with the fun and artistry of aerial dance.

*Intermediate Silks prerequisites consist of a strong ability in silk fundamentals... Various climbs, straddle-back/aerial invert, Footlock, and HipKey - if you have questions regarding the prerequisites please contact the studio

Lyra/Aerial Hoop

LYRA FUNDAMENTALS: Work on the fundamentals in this lyra class. Students will start to develop the core strength and flexibility required for Aerial Hoop – aka Lyra – while working on various skills including mounts, spins, swings and dismounts.

LYRA: In this multi level class we will work on building strength & flexibility, while working towards progressive moves and combinations using the hoop apparatus – aka Lyra – including mounts, spins, swings, dismounts, sequences and balancing skills.

ADVANCED BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LYRA: In this advanced beginner/intermediate lyra class we will be focusing on exploring individuality while building choreo & linking progressive moves (including spins, swings, balancing skills & drops) with transitions and music.

*Intermediate Lyra prerequisites - must have unassisted: straddle back, pull over to bottom bar, cleanly invert from inside hoop (from bottom to top & knee hang. Must be comfortable with development of strength moves, choreo & spin. If you have any questions regarding pre-req's please phone the studio.


Hammock

HAMMOCK FUNDAMENTALS: In this Fundamentals beginner level class, from a single point, this is where we learn & build a foundation for our Aerial Hammock practice. We'll work on items such as conditioning, mounts, dismounts, transitions while challenging our balance. We will move towards learning how to flow together poses and movement while gaining strength and improving flexibility.

HAMMOCK: In this multi level Hammock class, from a single point we'll utilize the fabric to challenge our balance, build strength, alignment and flexibility. Students will work on piecing together poses and transitions to explore flow & create a beautiful dance. From here the emphasis will be placed on learning creative combinations, dynamic movements, drops and sequencing.

Spanish Web/Rope

Spanish Web/Rope: Break away from the usual aerial skill sets with Jane’s' Spanish Web/Rope class. In this Rope Spinning (aka Spanish Web) workshop, we will explore Rope choreography, Spanish Web Foot and Hand Spinning. Come learn web techniques along with exploring various moves and new positions.

Pole

POLE DANCE: This multi level class includes a warm-up, challenging level appropriate pole tricks, fluid transitions + floor & dance work concentrating on flow. Learn how to safely perform pole tricks, routines and transitions while cultivating your personal flow & dance style.

PICK A TRICK: Pick a trick at random & learn choreography around that trick - on and off the pole! Have fun, expanding your Pole vocabulary and method, while at the same time learn a cool combination around and on the pole.
*Must have a some pole experience

Specialty Apparatuses

AERIAL CUBE, TRIANGLE TRAP, AERIAL FRAME & AERIAL LADDER: In this multi level specialty apparatus class, we’ll play with and explore all the various angles and planes of the cube, the triangle trap, aerial frame and an aerial ladder. This class is perfect for aerial students who want to explore different shapes and the numerous dance possibilities of multi-plane, “outside of the box” apparatuses and doubles work. *Prerequisites students should already have a background on either lyra, silks, hammock, pole or trapeze. 1.5 hour, co-ed

All Levels Stretch


Get stretched! This class is for all levels of students looking to gain flexibility and mobility in their back, shoulders, legs, and arms. Increase your mobility, range of motion, and reduce tension across your body, incorporating active and passive stretching techniques, helping you to achieve new poses in your practice. Suitable for all levels. 1 hour, co-ed
